Family Support Worker

   

Do you want to make a positive difference to children and their families' lives? Do you want to help children and families have a better future? McConaughy Discovery Center is looking for ideal candidates to join our team as a Family Support Worker.


A Family Support Worker provides face-to-face assistance, coaching, teaching, and role modeling in the family home or community-based setting to maintain and strengthen families' lives.

  

Competitive wages and Benefits:

  • $20-24/ hour (depending on education and experience)

Requirements for the position include:

  •  Bachelor's Degree OR a high school diploma AND two (2) years of job-related experience to be the equivalent of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Smart phone, personal computer and reliable vehicle for transportation required.
  • A background check and motor vehicle record check are also requirements for the position.
  • Full-time/Part-time positions are available. Working mornings, nights, and weekends is a part of the position. Work schedules are flexible. Mileage reimbursement.
  • McConaughy Discovery Center serves the Nebraska Child and Family Services area with major cities including Lincoln, Nebraska City, Lexington, North Platte, Ogallala, Omaha, Sidney, Scottsbluff, Gering, and Chadron.
